Definition of Capability

Airline

Ability for the airline to provide offer content in specific languages or specific currencies.

Seller

Ability for Seller to request and display offer content in specific languages or specific currencies.

NOTE: System Providers will use the above definition that pertains to their customers for Capabilities Verification.

Based on locale parameters sent in Sellers' requests, the Airline can return content in the requested languages and amounts in requested currencies.

Airline

Demonstrate a change in content language and amount currency driven by a request’s locale preferences between one response and the next.

Look for language preferences in either of the two the following locations:

Passengers are also able to change their language preferences post-Order creation, via the Pax-details servicing functions in OrderChangeRQ. In principle, the Airline could therefore return an OrderViewRS reflecting content in the language matching the passenger’s modified preference settings.

Seller

The Seller is expected to support sending their customer’s language and currency preferences in RQs and displaying to the customer any UTF-8 compatible character sets returned by the Airline.
