Definition of Capability

Airline

Ability to create and service group bookings.

Seller

Ability to request creation and servicing of group bookings.

NOTE: System Providers will use the above definition that pertains to their customers for Capabilities Verification.

A booking is marked and interpreted as a Group booking when the following element is provided in the OrderCreateRQ by the Seller:

Once the Airline confirms the Order creation, the group name is echoed back to the Seller through:

Each Airline would implement their own rules/conditions regarding Group bookings. For example:

  • Minimum number of passengers required for the Order to be considered a group booking.

  • Maximum number of allowed passengers in a Group booking.

  • Minimum required passenger details at time of Order creation.

  • Minimum required passenger details at time of payment.
