Definition of Capability

Airline

This capability allows an Airline to respond to a request from the Seller to create an Order based on selection of Offer(s) and Offer Item(s).

Seller

This capability allows the Seller to request that an Airline create an Order based on selection of Offer(s) and Offer Item(s).

NOTE: System Providers will use the above definition that pertains to their customers for Capabilities Verification.

Retailing Capabilities Verification Guidance

• Demonstrate use of NDC Order creation based on OfferIDs using the following structure:

  • /IATA_OrderCreateRQ/Request/CreateOrder/AcceptSelectedQuotedOfferList/SelectedPricedOffer

At a minimum, all mandatory OfferItems within the accepted Offer(s) need to be explicitly referenced from the above selection mechanism, including references to the passengers for whom the services have been constructed.

• Include PaymentTimeLimit to unpaid OrderItems in response:

  • /IATA_OrderViewRS/Response/Order/OrderItem/PaymentTimeLimitDateTime

• Optionally provide supported forms of payment:

  • /IATA_OrderViewRS/PaymentFunctions/PaymentSupportedMethod
