Definition of Capability

Airline

This capability allows an Airline to deliver offer conditions/restrictions for a specified product (OfferItem). Conditions/restrictions to include at minimum details on changeability/refundability.

Provide offer restrictions using v19.2 and later structure without legacy Fare Rules.

Seller

This capability allows the Seller to display offer conditions/restrictions for a specified product (OfferItem). Conditions/restrictions to include at minimum details on changeability/refundability.

Ability to display v19.2 and later offer restrictions for a specified product during shopping/pricing process.

NOTE: System Providers will use the above definition that pertains to their customers for Capabilities Verification.

Retailing Capabilities Verification Guidance

This capability focuses on the use of more up-to-date mechanisms for providing structured and machine-readable rules (Offer Restrictions, available from release v19.2 and later), without the use of legacy Fare Rules.

Airline

If the Airline has Order Management capabilities, the Offer Restriction details are expected to also be provided at Order level (OrderViewRS).
